Editorial policy
Start from the official source
Fares, opening hours, eligibility and booking rules come from the operator, tourism authority or service provider that sets them. A condition that could change your choice sits next to the claim it affects. A page being online does not prove it is current, so each source carries the date it was checked.
Recommend, and say who it is not for
A guide should leave you able to decide. Each one says what the editor would choose on a typical trip, shows the numbers behind it, and names the travelers who should choose differently. Facts from sources are kept apart from the editor's judgment, and no pass, hotel or booking service is presented as the best choice for everyone. Reports from other travelers are cited only where they change a decision, with who wrote them and when.
Translation and AI assistance
AI tools assist research, translation and drafting. An AI draft is not evidence: factual claims are checked against the cited sources before publication, and translations are reviewed. The English and Traditional Chinese versions may be updated on different days.
Dates and corrections
Every guide shows when its sources were checked and when it was last updated. Recheck time-sensitive details before you travel. When an error is confirmed, the guide is corrected and the change is explained in the text. To report something specific, use the feedback form at the end of the guide.
