A Danyang day works best when one verified stop anchors the plan and every timed activity stays optional. The durable anchor in this guide is Mancheonha Skywalk. Paragliding, the zip line, alpine coaster, cruises and local transport all depend on date-specific operations, weather, inventory or route information, so check them live rather than building the day around copied figures.
Start with the official Skywalk boundary
The Danyang Tourism Organization currently lists Mancheonha Skywalk at 09:00–18:00 in summer and 09:00–17:00 in winter. Ticketing stops one hour before closing. The posted admission is KRW 4,000 for adults and KRW 3,000 for youths, children and seniors. Visitors use the shuttle for access to the observatory.
The operator also warns that peak waits may exceed one hour and that weather can restrict operations. Treat the opening window as a boundary, not a promise that entry or every activity will be available when you arrive. Recheck the official hours, fee and notice pages on the travel date.

Paragliding, zip lines and alpine coasters can be affected by weather, capacity, safety restrictions and waiting. Check the current operator page or booking screen for the actual date. Confirm at least these items:

- the exact meeting point and check-in time;
- age, height, weight, clothing or health restrictions;
- what happens when weather stops operations;

Keep Cheongpungho separate
Cheongpungho Lake cruise is a separate Jecheon option, not a quick stop inside a compact Danyang town route. If the cruise is the priority, plan it as its own leg and use the live operator or city information for the departure dock, sailing time, ticket conditions and identification requirements. A low-risk day structure
Before departure: Search the real travel date, confirm the return journey, open the official Skywalk notice, and check the weather. If booking an activity, secure and read that booking before adding anything else.
At Danyang: Complete the chosen anchor first. The Skywalk’s ticket cutoff is one hour before closing, and a peak wait may exceed one hour, so do not treat the last possible entry as a target.
After the anchor: Add a riverside or town walk only if the return connection leaves comfortable margin. A short optional walk is easier to abandon than a prepaid activity.
Questions to answer before you go
Can I rely on the old activity or bus figures in a blog post? No. Use the operator or booking service for the exact date.
Is the Skywalk always accessible during posted hours? No. The official information warns about weather restrictions and long peak waits. Recheck notices.
Should I combine Skywalk, paragliding and a cruise in one day? Only after every live time and transfer is confirmed with real margin. For most uncertain plans, one anchor plus one flexible walk is safer.
Do I need a car? Completed travelers used different combinations of bus, rail, car and taxi. Their reports show the need to verify the final local leg; they do not establish a universal answer.
