Official map coordinates place Woljeonggyo southwest of Donggung and Wolji, closer to the bus-terminal side of central Gyeongju. For a westbound return toward Hwangnidan-gil or the terminals, the default order is therefore Donggung and Wolji followed by Woljeonggyo. Treat 21:30 as a cutoff, not an arrival time
As checked on 7 September 2026, Donggung and Wolji is open 09:00–22:00 year-round, and ticketing ends at 21:30. Admission is KRW 3,000 for adults, KRW 2,000 for teenagers and KRW 1,000 for children. Gyeongju City also warns that night-view crowds may make entry difficult close to the cutoff.
Woljeonggyo is listed as open 09:00–22:00 with free admission. Its page gives no separate last-entry time, but that does not promise access to the bridge interior after 22:00. If the evening is running late, protect Donggung and Wolji’s ticketed 21:30 cutoff, then add Woljeonggyo only if time remains.
Check the bus before you enter
The Gyeongju Traffic Information Center links to real-time bus information and route timetables. When checked, the Donggung and Wolji stop display showed route 711 toward Gyeongju Station (KTX), route 600 toward the intercity and express bus terminals, and route 10 or 11 toward the Hwangnidan-gil area. That is a live result, not a promise of the last bus on your travel date.
Before entering, save the correct stop number, destination and final vehicle you plan to catch. If you cannot confirm enough transfer time for a booked train or intercity bus, drop the second night stop and keep a taxi as the fallback. A 22:00 attraction closing time does not mean public transport runs until then.
Keep only one stop when time is tight
Choose Donggung and Wolji if you can enter before 21:30 and want the ticketed pond-side visit. Choose Woljeonggyo for a shorter free bridge stop, but finish before its listed 22:00 closing time. If the KTX connection controls the evening, use the Donggung and Wolji stop as your final decision point only after route 711 appears with the correct destination; if it does not, protect the journey back rather than the sightseeing list.
