Otherwise, inspect the English, Chinese or Japanese options on a full-day tour, or use a local bus if you want to linger over one beach or cafe. We compared the two Klook listings on 28 September 2026 using their displayed duration: the Korean-guided half-day takes about 4 hours 30 minutes, while the full-day product with English, Chinese or Japanese options takes about 8–9 hours. Adding the waterfall and forest circuit therefore commits another 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours 30 minutes of the day. The languages and stops differ, so this is a time comparison, not an equivalent-price or satisfaction ranking.
A booking is not always a confirmed departure
A purchaser writing a review on 10 May 2026 said that another operator had cancelled for insufficient participants; the traveller then booked the current tour with their father and appreciated the lighter schedule. This listing says departure is confirmed from one participant. Check the rule for any other product before committing the rest of your day.
The full-day listing connects the shore with Shiraito Falls and forest stops. That reach comes with scheduled departure times at each stop. A review published in 2024 about a different Itoshima tour recorded a change to the salt-workshop stop and found the pudding poor value for them. Use that older account to anticipate possible itinerary changes, not as the current operator’s guaranteed route or price.
When the Showa Bus pass makes more sense

There is a local-bus version and a version including the highway bus, with English and Korean purchase screens. Neither supplies a guide or a sightseeing vehicle that waits for you. Match the last bus and return stop to your beach or cafe before buying.
A GOOD LUCK TRIP review posted on 13 September 2026 by 「一個漸漸喜歡上慢旅的人」 describes taking Showa Bus from Hakata Bus Terminal toward Meoto Iwa, carrying picnic food, stopping at Itoshima Sabo for coffee and returning to Hakata by evening. The actual ride date is not given. This is an account of scheduled buses, not a guided tour; it illustrates a day built around one or two stops, not a current timetable.
For a short circuit with a Korean-speaking guide, compare the half-day tour’s pickup, drop-off and confirmed departure. For the falls, inspect the full-day stop list. For a slow afternoon at one place, build a scheduled-bus route first and only then choose the appropriate pass.
